In this interactive narrative, The Grand Getaway, the intrepid duo fix up their trusty Rocket, pack their new companion, Auto Caddy, and launch into a brand new interstellar adventure: a golf trip to Mars! Disaster strikes in asteroid form and the team crash-land, but all is not lost on the dusty planet - there are plenty of things to discover to rebuild the Rocket. There are even helping hands from some friendly inhabitants. Can Wallace & Gromit escape or are they lost in space forever? This hand-tracking enabled narrative game lets users embody both Wallace and Gromit with over an hour of unique interactive experiences and mini-games featuring all the quintessential wit and charm of the Wallace and Gromit IP.
Included in The Grand Getaway app is the MR game, Jamtastic!, that offers hours of pass-through gameplay. In this Duck-Hunt-like experience, unpack Wallace's newest contraption, the Jam Cannon, and turn your room into a chaotic testing space. Earn points by blasting flying toast and bagels with jam to unlock new levels - but avoid hitting the burnt slices! Missed shots result in jam splats in your living space. What a mess!
