Part of a 4 episode series, this unique, interactive, noir-style comic, encourages users to explore a variety of perspectives and storylines while choosing to watch from the Living World or the After-Life.
Written and directed by Ryan Griffen (creator of the graphic novel, Lustration, and director of the live-action TV series, Cleverman), Lustration is grounded in Griffen’s Aboriginal heritage, a universe where an in-between after-life exists and souls are either sent off to a place of eternal peace or “lustrated” to damnation by Protectors.
This series tracks two Protectors who are in charge of lustrating people who enter the After-Life. When one partner floats the idea of turning his back on the very system they’ve been tasked to defend, their world begins to fall apart.
