A plague of nightmares runs rampant through Brighton City, exploiting the fears of its victims who fall into terror-induced comas.  The city’s only hope is Mara, an 11-year-old girl, who can access the Nightmare World when she sleeps.  Will Mara be able to help her classmates who have fallen victim to these nightmares, or is it already too late? Over the course of 3 episodes, Mara struggles to make sense of her own orphan past while embracing her secret super powers.

NightMara exploits traditional comic book tropes of paneled scenes, speech bubbles, and onomatopoeia, breaking the 4th wall and letting these visual elements come at the viewer or provide framed portals for immersive parallax.
